Should elitists and overeducated snobs be purged from the Republican Party once and for all?

If you have no desire to connect with the common man, if you spend your life with your nose in books instead of the real world, why should you be allowed to consider yourself a conservative? People like Beck, Hannity, Palin and Limbaugh know how to relate to others b/c they are the type of people you would like to have a beer with, people with two Ph.d.s, season tickets to the ballet or the opera and who use big vocabulary words are not indicative of what is needed in the Right. Seriously, if you're not the type of person people want to have a beer with, you might want to think about defecting over to the other side and hanging with Pelosi and Frank and the rest of them. You're not wanted among real Americans.
