Sick roommate in college?

Hello. I go to College, and leave for Winter Break on Monday at around noon. Just because I'm soo lucky....my roommate is not feeling well, and I seriously think he is getting sick. He is coughing a little bit, but the main problem seems to be a runny nose. Now, I truly do not want to get sick right before break. Two questions.....do you think I will get sick (I am taking Airborne and now washing my hands constantly and using hand sanitizer), and what else can I do not to get sick. I already am making myself scarce from the room, except for sleeping and the stuff that I have to do before I leave Monday. Help! This is seriously freaking me out!
