Ring appraisal help please?

Any jewelry appraiser will give you an honest opinion. If you want an appraisal for what the ring is worth, get one for 'retail purposes'. The 'normal' appraisals are for insurance purposes, they reflect the price your ring would cost brand new which is probably 3 times as much as what you could hope to get, selling it second hand.
