PSP Firmware 3.95 to 4.01 to 5.00 m33 just making sure?

Just to make sure you need to have a pandora battery and a magic memory stick to update my firmware from version 3.95 to 4.01 to 5.00 because you need version 5.00 to download games and stuff....if im nto correct plz tell me im should be recieveing my pandora battery and magic memory stick very soon so any help about how to use it or how to install it anythign about it please help me out and tell me what i would need to do but i really need to know about the firmware thanx
