How much vicodin is to much in a day?

Ok, I am not one to have an addictive personality at all but when i get vicodin or percocets i tend to have my own little party. I was recently injured and got 30 vocodin es. I have been taking 2 1/2 in the morning to 3, the another 2 at lunch, then another 3 when i get home and chill for the night. Like i said as soon as these are gone i wont touch them or go buy them illegally or anything. Just wondering if how much i am taking is dangerous? I really am no druggie just have fun with them when i have them.
